Terms of Service

By creating an account on Ascoé, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and successfully verify your identity with a government-issued ID to use Ascoé. Accounts found to belong to users under 18, or that fail verification, will be removed.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity on your account. Each person may hold only one account. Impersonation, fake profiles, and circumventing verification are prohibited.

3. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of questions and answers you post. By posting, you grant Ascoé a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the app, including when posted anonymously. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.

4. Anonymity

Ascoé lets you post questions and answers anonymously to other users. Anonymity applies to what other members see — it does not apply to Ascoé's moderation team, who may review account-level information to enforce these terms, investigate reports, or comply with the law.

5. Moderation & Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Code of Conduct below, with or without notice. Content that receives enough user reports may be automatically hidden pending review.

6. Disclaimers & Liability

Ascoé is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Responses from other users are personal opinions, not professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascoé is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or interactions with other users.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Ascoé after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Code of Conduct

To keep Ascoé a respectful place for honest conversation, you agree not to:

Harass, threaten, demean, or bully other users
Post hate speech or content that attacks people based on identity or background
Share sexual, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content
Request or share personal contact information, photos, or other identifying details
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Spam, advertise, or solicit other users
Post content that is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes self-harm

Use the report option on any question or answer that violates these guidelines. Repeated or severe violations will result in account suspension or removal.
